It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of the first ever DS/BG Tin Man Fan Video Contest

1st Place: "First Time" by CrazyQA215

Why this video kicks so much ass:

The attention to detail in "First Time" is superb. CrazyQA215 - you adjusted brightness and contrast perfectly to make scenes crystal clear, paid very close attention to detail on timing of transitions and clip content, and flipped scenes making us do a double take thinking we were seeing *gasp* brand new Cain footage (haha which was GREAT). The way you paired clips of DG/Cain when they were in the snow and wagon at different points in the show made it look like they were really there together and was an added bonus to an already phenominal video. The lyrics were a great match for the pair and we commend you on your Fan-tabulous creation for the Tin Man fandom. Congratulations, honey!

1st Runner Up: "Savin' Me" by Mercsire

Why this video rocks socks:

The emotion in this video is breathtaking and really leaves us with a satisfied Cain/DG craving. The pairing of clips to lyrics was outstandingly well done and O - M - G *fangirl sigh and flail* the inclusion of Cain’s misty blue eyes and commentary with DG during the break in the song was swoon-worthy. Well done, babe! It was a heart stopper. You had us staring bug-eyed at the screen, nodding and insisting that it is very much worth saving Cain and you are a goddess of the fandom for making this. We salute you!

Thanks to everyone who participated, trust us, it was difficult to concentrate long enough to make the decision with all the marvelous C/DG-ness that was submitted. We loved all of the entries and are glad you shared your gift with all of us flailing fangirls of the realm. MWAH! Until next time!

The Tin Man Contest over on YouTube is now closed and myself *DarkestStarRMS* and
*BordelloBadGirl* have chosen the Winner and Runner Up! X-) Seeing as both of us have been
busy, we will post further details within the next few days. We haven't quite got around to the
small stuff yet. Each person who submitted a video to the Group will receive a message within
that time, directing them here to find out who both the Runner Up, and the Winner is! We will give a detailed explanation as to what we liked about both videos and why they were chosen. X-)
